Wow... even from this far I can feel the cold from your photos, Kris.
ReplyDeleteYep, pretty nippy out there. I won't be working in the yard until it gets at least above freezing! Still have leaves and compost to wrangle. Send me some warmth! :-D
ReplyDeleteBrrrr. We have not had frost this bad yet. Lucky us. The roses are still going strong. Nice landscape there.
ReplyDeleteGWGT - Thanks, and nice you stopped by. I'm chomping at the bit to work outside, but it's still waaaay too cold for this gal. LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm cold just looking at those pictures. We are having spring like weather here today, what a weird year of weather we've had. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteHi Catherine :-D Sure has been a bizarre weather year! When I went outside to work (when it warmed up into the 40s) I found violets blooming under the butterfly bushes while that crazy lupine looks like it's going to bloom. :-/ Enjoy your fortunate weather!
ReplyDeleteNo frost yet on the west side. jim
ReplyDeleteWe are supposed to get your cold down here by Friday. Maybe mid 20's.
ReplyDeleteAt this point, I am ready (I think).
I can work outside if I am doing strenuous things....cleaning beds, tilling, fencing, etc.
Jim - enjoy it while ya can!
ReplyDeleteGlenda - Yes, if one keeps moving but I'm starting to slooooooow down. ;-D I'm definitely ready to move inside and re-acquaint myself with the comfy chair!
Brrr... that looks cold. We're also zone 5. We had 8 inches of snow last week that was melted by the next day. This week is a balmy 64°. Still some blooms in our gardens, but every morning has some frost. I love this time of year.
ReplyDeleteBRRRR...too cold for me. But we have a forecast for 28 degrees overnight this weekend. But still 50s during the day - and just last week it was in the upper 70s.
ReplyDeleteMeredehuit & Ginny - it's just this transitional month that keeps me off balance - frigid for a couple of days, then very nice, then sleet, etc. Once it settles down it'll be easier to accustom to it. This weekend is also the time change so the sun will seem to set an hour earlier. That'll take some getting used to. Thanks for stopping by the blog! :-D
