Outside : 23F (high for today), snow and howling wind.
Inside? Not so much.
I love it when a fire has been burning most of the day and by evening it's all glowing coals and hot, blue flame.
It's been a great week of watching the 50th anniversary celebrations of Doctor Who. If you're a Whovian, let me know how you liked "The Day of the Doctor" episode. I thought it was brilliant.
Up here---6+ inches snow and still coming down hard. I'm thrilled---and waxing up those skis! Hoping to head out at dawn for a few laps out back.
ReplyDeleteSure wish I had the fireplace. That looks so relaxing!
Happy you got your much-wanted snow, Sue. Enjoy your ski outing. Me - I'm staying inside and staying warm and toasty.
DeleteLove the look of that snow, and of the fire ;) I agree - cold mornings / days indoors round the fire, with a good book / favourite TV programme - nothing to beat it. If the natural world can take a rest in winter, why shouldn't we? :)
ReplyDeleteToo cold too early - still have some chores to do outside. Yes, fire is lovely, no?
DeleteNot a Who fan....but I do love seeing the fire....you can't see the fire in our stove but the heat is lovely!
ReplyDeleteVery cold here too. 13 ° this morning.
Never got out of teens yesterday and now there is a snow storm coming next couple of days. Too early for winter! It's still November!
