1st mow - and chasing g'hog

First mowing on Saturday.  It's going to rain all week, so it was high time to cut.

As for the REAL ADVENTURE - head over to the vegetable page.  You have no idea what kind of morning I've had!  Need access?  Click subject ACCESS on the side bar FILE BOX.

  1. We look like you in the spring development department. I too should have mowed on Saturday and now it will be thick and heavy. My daffodils are probably a week behind yours but will post them as soon as I can.

    1. Started raining around noon and looks to be a wet week. Maybe you'll get a break in the weather sooner rather than later. Daffs - early, late, whenever, they are wonderful!

  2. We still haven't caught our resident ground hog......he must have several other exits that we haven't found yet.

The yard looks very good. Ours is a disaster of millions of dandelions.

    1. Have you tried a smoke bomb? The 1st one would show you where the other exits are and then you can block them. The 2nd bomb should kill them. Very few dandelions this year - but we've only just gotten above freezing so I'm sure they are lurking out there. :-D
