For the past year I've concentrated on those back/bee beds and have given the front of the house very short shrift. So it was a little surprising when I actually looked out the front door of the breezeway this morning and saw what effect all this warm wet weather has had on my hostas, astilbes, hydrangeas, sedums, ferns and heucheras. Goodness!

Kris I would enjoy coffee with you in the lovely , cool spot.
ReplyDeleteI discovered how much plants love lots of water last year when we had a very wet spring. The hostas really outdid themselves.
Wish you could share some rain with me. We got another skimpy 1/4 inch.
Glenda - come for coffee any time (and bring some of that cherry pie! LOL).
ReplyDeleteEven as I type, radar shows another line of storms heading right for us. Wish I could send them your way instead. I'm tired of everything always being wet! *grumble*
Kris what a lovely entry way you have. You have really made us of the shade with your beautiful Hostas and Astilbes. What a lovely little sitting area also. It has been super wet here but not as much as you have gotten maybe. Most of my flowers are laying flat because of recent storms.Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove your coffee spot, Kris. Very serene.
