Meltdown
The afternoon sun got these front bay window icicles flowing like fountains. I wondered why they sparkled as much as they did. When I looked closer I saw that a lot of them were dripping from the inside, not on the outside. The icicles were hollow and the water bubbled through them like old-fashioned Christmas bubbler lights. It was just beautiful to watch and I must have lost 15 minutes staring at them.
Meanwhile, when I wasn't being bedazzled in the living room, I spent more time in the kitchen playing with something ELSE that bubbled.... (CLICK HERE).

What a spectacular photo. Makes me cold, though, just looking at it, LOL.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to drop by to mention that there are a ton of things you can do with whey. I made a list in one of my cheese making posts. You'll find it at the bottom of the post, Cheese #11, The Recipe. I hope it's useful.
Thanks for the additional info, Leigh! For more COLD, check out the eye-candy link. :-D
DeleteI would have been staring at those icicles, too. So cool!
ReplyDeleteIt's the little things like that makes a winter worthwhile.
