Breakfast with the Borg

Dave compared me to a StarTrek Borg after reading yesterday's 'Wired' post.  ROFL

So, while ingesting organic nutrients on the deck this morning, my 'enhanced vision implants' recorded this bucolic setting:

Wow, the daffs are going strong and the birdsong is delightful!

Uh, I mean, there is a great deal of colorful flora at this location and the avian population exhibits excited (and very vociferous) behavior.

Enjoy the clip.

Resistance is futile....

  2. Daffodils are so special to me. I think their shape is so unique and have always enjoyed seeing them first thing in spring. Mine are six inches up and no buds showing right now.

    1. Keep watching, Larry. You know they are so worth the weight. It's not a real Spring until there are daffodils. Enjoy!

  3. My daffs were a real disappointment this year. I love to hear the birdsong! The house finches have been very entertaining this year with their very loud music.

    1. My daffs multiply like rabbits. I dig up clumps every year, throw out the littles, replant the spot, then have tons more to put back by the golf course. One year it should be solid yellow under those pine trees...

  4. Daffs very late this year but I love them.

    Think of you more as 7-of-9 than complete Borg :}
