Ouch!

That had to hurt.  The dove, which flew off, left practically a 3D hologram on the window.

I've been doing a ton of posting on the sidebar blog pages.  Want access?  Email me.  (search Access on the sidebar subjects)

  1. I have seen them know themselves out; recover and then fly off. I have holes in the screens where the birds impale their beaks flying into the windows.....

    1. With the casement windows, the screens are on the inside. The other windows, that have outside screens, never seem to get run into. I think it's the reflection. The screens seem to protect the windows with anti-glare somehow.

  2. We have pigeons do this - usually the day after the window cleaner has been.

  3. PS: thanks for the access to the other blogs, don't seem to be able to get into the 'flowers' one, have I missed replying to an invite from you?

    1. It's always the sunroom windows. I think without outside screens the reflection turns the windows into mirrors and they see 'open sky' there. I'll resend invite to flowers....
