Benign!

First and foremost - the mamo's and ultrasound did NOT find anything dangerous!  Though there ARE issues, they are not life-threatening.  But since there ARE some issues, I'll have to have ultra-sounds and mamo's on 6-mos intervals from now on.  That's no biggie for some piece of mind. The delay in getting this info is (as I've mentioned before) that the doctor is only in his office one day a week and the nurse could not give me results until he himself had reviewed all the tests.  I figured that, had something BEEN wrong, there would have been earlier notice, so tried to keep calm until I heard from them.  I got the info Tues, but have not had the wherewithall to post until now.  Sorry.

Meanwhile, how about a pretty (if slightly blurred) picture to celebrate?   By keeping heavy netting around the end of the privacy fence bed this year, the Asiatic lilies had a chance to bloom right along with the annual (self-seeded) delphiniums.  What a nice display they make and certainly brightens up my view from the kitchen window these days. :-D

And, to keep you up to date in the yard, I've updated both the
Flower Bed (= click HERE for info)
and Vegetable (= click HERE for info)
blog pages.

  2. Good news!

And the lilies and delphs are gorgeous. It's my first year for lilies-I'm anxiously awaiting their blooms.... though the deer ate some of the buds (I thought deer didn't eat them????)

    1. Hi Sue. And deer will DEVOUR lily buds. Last year I had NO Asiatic lily blooms at all as they were all eaten. I only have blooms this year due to the netting. Unfortunately, I'll have little or no DAYlilies this year as they've eaten off all those buds. :-( I'm learning that deer will eat just about everything.

    1. Thanks, Tammy. Yes - Yay! Now I've had to drape my big clump of phlox - I see they're being eaten now.... A girl has only so much net to go around. *sigh*

    1. Eating, yes. Gaining weight? Not by half, I'm afraid. Still I'll take what I can get. I'm between spells and doctor visits right now. Hope this lasts... The flowers are pretty, but having to net everything thwarts the birds and bees - so what good are the flowers then? *sigh*
